Legacy’s Young Professionals Committee
Legacy’s Young Professionals Committee is a volunteer committee made up of dedicated professionals in their twenties and thirties. Based in NYC and soon to launch in Washington, DC, the committee is working to raise awareness and funds to help support Legacy’s lifesaving efforts in tobacco prevention and cessation. Members have the opportunity to meet other like-minded peers across a variety of professions, attend great events and most importantly, support Legacy’s programs.

Cocktail Party at the Delancey Rooftop, NYC – June 27, 2011
The NYC committee was launched in September 2010 and has hosted three events since its inception, most recently a Trivia Night and Cocktail Party this past November. Together, the events have raised more than $15,000 to support Legacy’s mission. Both the NYC and DC committees welcome new members who are passionate about our cause.

It is crucial to engage the next generation of executives and leaders in the fight to save lives. Through their activism, energy and support, Young Professionals can build a world where people reject tobacco and anyone can quit.
