Butt Really

About the Warner Series

This is a crucial point in time for public health and tobacco control. The federal government has shown great leadership in addressing the tobacco epidemic, but the fact remains that tobacco kills nearly 400,000 people in the United States annually, making it the number-one cause of preventable death.

The Kenneth E. Warner Lecture Series at Legacy provides  public health leaders with a forum for a dynamic and thought-provoking dialogue on emerging and controversial issues, laying the seeds for a comprehensive, collaborative plan for the next generation of tobacco control policies. Legacy has hosted more than 1000 attendees both in person and online for these highly--anticipated events.
