Senator Charles K. Scott (WY-R) was elected to the Wyoming House in 1979 and served through 1982 and was first elected to the Senate in 1983 where he has served since.
He serves as chair of the Labor Subcommittee of Wyoming’s Health and Social Services Committee. He also serves as a member of the Corporations Subcommittee of the Elections and Political Subdivisions Committee and of the Health Committee of the National Conference of State Legislators.
A cattle rancher by occupation, Senator Scott’s keen interest in the outdoors is apparent in his civic organization and association involvement with the Audubon Society, the Nature Conservancy, the Wyoming Stockgrowers Association and the Reforming States Group (a Health Policy Group) on which he serves as Co-Chair.
Senator Scott earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
